Getting started

Updated Aug 2026 2 min read Applies to v0.1.0

This guide takes you from a fresh install to your first lead arriving in RD Station. It only takes a few minutes end to end.

Before you start, you will need Elementor Pro (for the Forms widget), a published Elementor form, and an RD Station account — for CRM, even the free plan works.

1. Install the plugin

Download the free plugin zip from this site. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, then install and activate it. A new menu item appears in your admin sidebar.

2. Connect your RD Station account

Create an app in the RD Station App Store with the permissions for the product you are connecting. Register the callback URL shown on the plugin’s Settings tab, then paste the app’s Client ID and Client Secret and connect. Your OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on your own site.

3. Create your first integration

Open the Integrations tab and create an integration: choose the destination — Marketing conversions or CRM contacts — then pick your Elementor form. Give it a name you will recognize in the logs later.

4. Map your fields

Match each form field to the RD Station field it should fill — your account’s custom fields included. Only mapped fields are ever sent. The only mandatory fields are the ones RD Station’s own forms require:

Destination Required field
Marketing conversion email
CRM contact name

5. Send a test

Submit the form on your site, then check the Logs tab. You should see the delivery recorded with its full request and response — and the lead waiting in RD Station.
