WordPress Forms to Brevo: 4 Ways to Connect Them, Compared

October 16, 2026 4 min read

There are four ways to get WordPress form submissions into Brevo: your form builder’s own Brevo add-on, Brevo’s official plugin and sign-up forms, an automation service such as Zapier, or a connector plugin. The right one depends on which form plugin you use, whether you pay for its premium plan, and whether you want data to pass through a third service. Disclosure: we make one of the connector plugins.

The short answer

  • You already pay for WPForms, Fluent Forms Pro or Gravity Forms: try their own Brevo add-on first.
  • You can replace your forms with Brevo’s: Brevo’s own sign-up forms need no extra plugin at all.
  • One form has to feed several apps (Brevo, a spreadsheet, Slack…): an automation service is built for that.
  • You use a free form plugin, or more than one form plugin: a connector plugin sends submissions straight to Brevo at no cost.

1. Your form builder’s own Brevo add-on

Several form builders ship a Brevo integration, usually as part of a premium plan: WPForms includes its Brevo addon in paid plans, Fluent Forms needs Fluent Forms Pro, and Gravity Forms — a paid plugin — documents its own Brevo add-on with lists and double opt-in.

Good: configured inside the form editor, supported by the form builder. Watch out: it costs a premium plan if you don’t have one, and each add-on only covers its own form plugin.

2. Brevo’s official plugin and sign-up forms

Brevo’s free WordPress plugin is built around Brevo itself: its own sign-up forms, email sending through Brevo, and tracking. If you are happy to build your newsletter form in Brevo and embed it, you don’t need anything else.

Good: free and official. Watch out: it is not a way to send your existing Contact Form 7, Elementor or WPForms forms to Brevo — its listing mentions compatibility with form builders but gives no setup details.

3. Automation services (Zapier, Pabbly Connect, Zoho Flow)

These services receive each submission — usually through a webhook from your form — and then call Brevo. They shine when one form has to update several apps at once.

Good: flexible, many apps. Watch out: another account to run, plans priced by tasks (each submission counts), and your leads pass through the service’s servers on the way to Brevo.

4. A connector plugin

A connector plugin runs on your site and sends each submission straight to Brevo’s API. Ours, Connect WordPress Forms to Brevo, is free on WordPress.org and works with Contact Form 7, Elementor Pro, WPForms (Lite included), Fluent Forms and Gravity Forms: map email and name, choose lists, optionally turn on double opt-in, and check every delivery in its log. Other connectors exist for single form plugins too.

Good: free, no middleman, works with free form plugins. Watch out: the free version sends email, first and last name; other Brevo attributes (SMS, WhatsApp, custom attributes) are in the separate Pro plugin.
