Getting started
This guide takes you from a fresh install to your first form submission arriving in Brevo as a contact. It only takes a few minutes end to end.
Before you start, you will need a Brevo account and at least one form built with Contact Form 7, Elementor Pro, WPForms, Fluent Forms or Gravity Forms.
1. Install the plugin
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add Plugin, search for WPIntegrations Form Connector for Brevo, then install and activate it. You can also download it from WordPress.org. A new Form Connector for Brevo menu appears in your admin sidebar.
2. Connect your Brevo account
In Brevo, open SMTP & API → API keys and create a key. Paste it on the plugin’s Settings tab, save, and click Test connection. The key is stored encrypted on your own site, and only its last characters are ever shown again.
If Brevo refuses the request because of an unrecognised IP address, add your web server’s IP address — the message names it — under Security → Authorised IPs in Brevo, then test again.
3. Create your first integration
Open the Integrations tab and click New integration. Brevo is the destination; give the integration a name, then pick the form plugin and the form. Your forms are listed for you, so nothing has to be typed.
4. Map your fields and choose lists
Match the form field that holds the email to Brevo’s Email — it is the only required field. First and last name are optional. Then choose the Brevo lists every contact from this form should join.
“Update contacts that already exist in Brevo” is on by default, so a returning visitor updates their contact instead of being skipped.
5. Turn on double opt-in (optional)
In Brevo, create an email template whose button links to “Double opt-in link”. Back in the integration, turn on Ask for confirmation by email and pick that template. Optionally set the page people see after confirming, and skip the confirmation for people already in Brevo.
6. Send a test
Submit the form on your site, then check the Logs tab. You should see the delivery recorded with its full request and response — and the contact waiting in Brevo.
